This Privacy Policy explains how Block Scape Architect ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile game published by NovaLumina Studio.

We are committed to handling data lawfully, fairly, and transparently, including in line with applicable Kenyan law.

1. Legal framework and scope

This Privacy Policy is interpreted in line with:

• the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 (including the right to privacy); and
• the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Kenya) and applicable subsidiary regulations.

This policy applies to information processed through the App.

2. Information we process

2.1 Information stored locally on your device

The App is designed as an offline-first game. We store most gameplay and settings data locally, such as:

• player preferences (for example, audio settings, mode, and difficulty);
• game progress and statistics (for example, scores, completed levels, combo records, mission and rewards progress);
• local security and integrity indicators used to help detect tampering.

2.2 Information processed when network features are used

Where network-enabled features are active, limited technical and usage data may be processed, including:

• analytics events (for example, screen views, gameplay milestones, and feature interactions);
• crash diagnostics and performance telemetry;
• ad-related technical data for banner delivery and fraud prevention.

3. Purpose and lawful basis of processing

We process information for one or more of the following purposes:

• to provide core gameplay functionality;
• to maintain progress, rewards, and personalization;
• to improve reliability, security, and anti-abuse controls;
• to measure product performance and feature usage;
• to support ad delivery and app monetization;
• to comply with legal obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on appropriate lawful bases, including consent, performance of service, legitimate interests, and legal obligation.

4. Analytics, advertising, and third-party services

The App may integrate third-party services, including:

• Firebase Analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Firebase Performance Monitoring
• Firebase App Check
• Firebase Authentication (Game Center on iOS, Google Play Games on Android)
• Cloud Firestore (leaderboards and related game services)
• Google AdMob

Where third-party processing applies, those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not sell personal data.

If new third-party processing activities are introduced that materially affect privacy, this policy and any required in-app notices or consents will be updated.

5. Data sharing and disclosure

We may disclose information only where necessary, including:

• User-initiated sharing: where you choose to share content through another app or service;
• Legal compliance: where required by law, regulation, court order, or lawful request by a competent authority;
• Protection of rights and security: to investigate abuse, fraud, cheating, or security incidents;
• Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, subject to lawful safeguards.

6. Data retention

Retention depends on data type and purpose:

• locally stored game data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App;
• analytics, crash, performance, and ad-related technical data may be retained by service providers for as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or legitimate business needs.

7. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:

• access personal data concerning you;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request deletion of personal data;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (Kenya).

Because much of App data is stored locally, many actions (such as deletion) can be performed directly through your device settings by clearing app data or uninstalling the App.

8. Children's privacy

The App is not intentionally directed at children in violation of applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without an appropriate lawful basis and, where required, parental or guardian authorization.

If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address the request.

9. Security measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and unlawful processing.

However, no platform, network, or storage mechanism is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cross-border processing

Where data is processed outside Kenya (including via third-party infrastructure), we take reasonable steps to ensure lawful transfer and protection standards consistent with applicable law.

11. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. Updates will be posted in the App or applicable publication channels, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
